Sara Murphy, BS
Vice President Marketing & Communications
Sara brings over 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and operations leadership within the foodservice industry, including over 10 years partnering with K-12 public, private and charter schools across the country. She began her career as the Marketing Director for a large school food service program in Florida and has since supported hundreds of districts in achieving their student participation and engagement goals. In addition to growing participation, she has led brand development, internal and external communications planning.
Sara is passionate about ensuring children have access to healthy, great tasting meals and supporting student achievement through the power of food. She is driven by collaborating with industry and school leadership to create custom, innovative solutions for each of our partners.
In her role, Sara focuses on bringing creative solutions to our partners that align with their mission, vision and values and drives positive outcomes, building brand awareness across TV, print, social, digital and PR platforms, and supporting our internal teams through streamlined communications.
Sara holds a BS from Florida State University and a Certificate of Marketing Strategy from Cornell University.
